Ingredients

  • 1 Apple
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice

Instructions

  • Start by washing and peeling the apples. Remove the core and cut them into small slices or cubes.
  • Place the apple slices or cubes into a bowl and sprinkle them with lemon juice. Toss the apples to ensure they are coated with the lemon juice. The lemon juice will prevent the apples from turning brown.
  • Once the apples are coated with lemon juice, lay them out on a baking sheet with space in between. Allow them to freeze all the way.
  • Once the apples are frozen transfer them to freezer-safe storage containers or bags. Be sure to leave some space at the top of the container or bag to allow for expansion during freezing.
  • Label the containers or bags with the date and contents, then place them in the freezer.
  • Frozen apples can be stored in the freezer for up to 12 months. When ready to use, thaw the desired amount in the fridge or at room temperature before use.
