You can toast pecans two ways. This recipe will show you how to toast them on your stove top and in your oven. Both ways give them a little extra crunch and enhance their nutty flavor.
Toast for about 10-12 minutes. Once they have a nice golden color go head and take them out to cool.
How To Toast Pecans in a pan
Place your pecans evenly in the pan. Make sure that each pecan is touching the botton of the pan so they toast evenly.
After about 5 minutes flip start tossing them so that they toast on all sides. You want to keep a close eye on the pecans while they are toasting so they do not burn.
Once the second side is toasted so ahead and remove them from the heat.Let them cool and then ENJOY!
