  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 tbsp black pepper


  • Butterfly the chicken breast by cutting through it horizontally to make two evenly thick pieces.
  • Mix the garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika together to make your seasoning, and then set it aside.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Drizzle olive oil over each piece of chicken and wipe or brush the oil so that the whole piece is oiled. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and crack fresh black pepper over each chicken breast.
    Flip them over and do the same to the other side. Then generously sprinkle your seasoning over both sides of the chicken.
  • Place each piece on your air fryer basket or in a roasting pan sitting on a rack in the pan.
    Make sure that have a little room to allow for the air to be able to get around the chicken and cook it evenly.
  • Put your chicken breast into your air fryer for about 20 minutes or until it reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
