Ingredients

  • 1 Watermelon

Instructions

  • Wash the watermelon with cold water and pat dry with a towel.

  • Half the watermelon but cutting right down the middle going across the fruit.

Wedges

  • Cut the halves into halves making 4 quarters.
  • One at a time lay the quarters on their flat side and cut through about every inch or so many triangular wedges of watermelon.

Cubes

  • Stand a half on the flat side and with your knife work your way down the watermelon cutting off the rind and white flesh from top to bottom.
Continue all the way around the watermelon until all you have is the pinkish red flesh.
  • Cut slice through the watermelon from top to bottom every inch or so making slices.
  • Lay the slided watermelon flat on the cutting board and cut across the slices and then turn the watermelon cutting again in the opposite direction creating your cubes.
