Sweet Maple Syrup Granola

This granola is delicious with a crunch and a sweet maple syrup touch. The granola is also easy to make and takes only about 30 minutes.

Equipment

  • 1 cookie sheet pan
  • 1 Mixing spatula
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 wood spatula

Ingredients

  • 4 cups old fashion oats
  • 2 cups plain cheerios
  • 1 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup pecans optional
  • 1 tsp olive oil extra virgin

Instructions

Mixing

  • Preheat your oven to 315F and grease your pan with olive oil.
  • Mix the old fashion oats and cheerios until incorporated. Add in the cinnamon, salt, and pecans with a mix. Now add your honey and maple syrup and give it a mix so it is incorporated.

Baking

  • Take your granola and put it in your cookie sheet pan and even it out.
  • Put your granola in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Take your granola out of the oven and let it cool for about 15-20 minutes. Now scrape the pan with a wood spatula so the granola can get off the pan.
  • Let it cool for about 15-20 minutes and enjoy!
